I am the CEO of my own company, Sismour's Janitorial Co. LLC, since 1991. You can find me at commercial construction sites or managing office maintenance contacts. I am now shifting gears back to the occupation of writing.
For over 35 years, I’ve written poetry and fiction, starting with Journalism, Children's stories, Middle-grade adventures, as well as Science Fiction and Young Adult novels. Recently, I’ve added the Romance genre, New Adult, and Teen Historical Horror to the list. My favorite part of writing is creating a good plot and the characters to make a story come alive.
In May of 2010, I founded the Network for the Arts to connect thousands of writers and artists with workshops, events, and publishing news nearly every day. My network friends are fellow writers, artists, theatre and filmmakers, poets, actors, wordsmiths, singers, radio speaks, agents, editors and the businesses that put it all together.
Through the Network for the Arts, I’ve had the opportunity to judge an international poetry contest, to edit other poet’s works by publisher request, and to write featured articles, short stories, and poetry for submission in multiple books. Many other writers and artists have achieved similar success through the network, and for this I am thrilled.
I also enjoy discussing the Network for the Arts and writing as a guest speaker on radio talk shows all over the country, and as a guest author for blogs, newspapers, and magazines. If you see me at a writer’s conference or meeting please introduce yourself, and I’ll add you to the network.
I’m a member of the Romance Writers of America, the Bethlehem Writer's Group, Liberty States Fiction Writers, and a past Vice-President and current member of the Pocono Lehigh Romance Writers.
My credo: The Network for the Arts has taught me that my writing continues to evolve. My readers deserve the best work I can craft.
